Looking to participate in HeartLands Conservancy’s Tree Stewards Program, but Tuesday evenings don’t work? Or would you like to participate in the program a little closer to home?
Fairmont City Library Center will be hosting two extended classes on April 15th and April 22nd, 12:00pm to 3:00pm!
Class one (April 15th) will cover the first three topics of the Tree Stewards Program (tree biology, tree identification, soils); Class two (April 22nd) will cover the second three topics (Selection and Planting, Pruning, Insects and Diseases).
Attend these two free classes to receive excellent training and education in urban forestry! From planting to care, Tree Stewards are given the information and practical knowledge to help the trees in their communities. No prior experience needed! Please register to attend!
