REGISTRATION FULL: History + Nature Walk at Engelmann Farm

May 4 @ 9:30 am 11:00 am CDT

Sitting in pride of place, atop one of the highest points in the region, you will find Engelmann Farm – winding trails through former farmland offer an exceptional view of the Shiloh Valley, virgin forests, and historic homes that remain provide a glimpse into the rich history of the land.

Engelmann Farm is now a public park with walking trails and lots of history to explore. Join HeartLands Conservancy the Gustave Koerner House Restoration Committee, and Belleville and St. Clair County Historical Societies for an immersive walk and talk about history and nature!

Learn more about the Gustave Koerner House in Belleville, which has a direct link to Engelmann Farm, here: https://gustavekoerner.org/

We are thrilled to partner with local historians, Jack LeChien and Molly McKenzie of the Gustave Koerner House Restoration Committee, Bob Brunkow of the Belleville Historical Society, and William P. Shannon, IV of the St. Clair County Historical Society, to bring you a one-of-a-kind tour of the history and nature behind this local park.

Due to parking constraints, we are offering multiple time slots (9:30 am – 11:00 am & 11:45 am – 1:15 pm) for this rain-or-shine event.
