Trout Hollow Hill Prairie Volunteer Stewardship Day
March 29, 2025 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT
Join us for our first public Trout Hollow Hill Prairie Stewardship Day! We will be clearing honeysuckle to open up the surrounding forest and space for future trails to the site. Caution: This task will require using tools like hand saws and loppers on very steep slopes, and volunteers will need to hike up the bluff to the hill prairie and navigate these slopes while carrying plant matter.
Location: Trout Hollow Hill Prairie in Monroe County/Waterloo Area of Illinois. Specific address will be shared with registered volunteers.
Registration for the volunteer stewardship day is now full!
