Friends of Heartlands Conservancy Appreciation Bonfire
October 9, 2025 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm CDT
Join us for an appreciation bonfire on October 9th at Poag Sand Prairie to celebrate all the incredible work you’ve done for conservation in southern Illinois! Enjoy s’mores around the fire, connect with fellow friends of HLC, and reflect on all we’ve accomplished together. Bring a camp chair (and perhaps a musical instrument if you have one) and let’s have a fun evening under the stars!
Note: Due to the earlier sunset time, we encourage you to bring a flash light for navigating around in the evening hours.
Please register for this event ahead of time to help us plan for parking and treats!
If you have any questions, please contact Anna McAtee, Land Conservation Manager, at an*********@*******************cy.org or call (618) 566-4451 ex 23.
