Has flooding or water issues in western St. Clair County, IL, impacted you as a resident of the Prairie du Pont and Judyβs Branch watersheds? HeartLands Conservancy wants to hear about it at the next informational open house event at Kappa House.
June 16th | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM | 5101 Lake Dr, Cahokia Heights, IL 62203
Come share information and input to help set priorities and goals for the Prairie du Pont Watershed.
The watersheds stretch from Brooklyn and Fairmont City south to East St. Louis, Cahokia Heights, Columbia, and Millstadt and from the west end of Belleville and Swansea west to the Mississippi River.
If you live in the watershed, please attend this information open house to be heard. You can also visit https://heartlandsconservancy.org/pdp/ for more details and share your story by filling out the survey.
The HLC watershed planning team has met with many residents and community leaders to listen to their concerns about flooding, sewage, water quality issues, and opportunities in the watershed.
The informational open house will be held June 16th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Kappa House located at 5101 Lake Dr, Cahokia Heights, IL 62203.
