Blue sage is an easy-to-grow plant for medium to somewhat dry soils. Blue sage grows from 3 to 5 feet high and has showy blue flowers that attract bees and butterflies. It makes a great addition to pollinator gardens. It works well in the middle of perennial borders, prairie gardens, and open meadows. The plant has a tendency to flop in rich soils, so it may require staking depending on where it is planted.
