Belleville Heart Garden showcases native plants and sustainable gardening techniques appropriate to its urban neighborhood surroundings. The garden includes an orchard with an integrated system of rain gardens filled with native species to manage stormwater runoff for the benefit of people, plants and pollinators at the site.
