Overview
Hobson Wildlife Reserve
The Hobson Wildlife Reserve protects wildlife habitat. Once a part of Ed and Pearl Mvroka’s Farm, their descendent, Thomas Hobson wanted to preserve the forest for wildlife. The upland forest situated in the middle of town is home to a variety of wildlife including raccoons, opossums, owls, and migratory birds.
By conserving this patch of forest, we’re protecting habitat that migratory birds need for rest and for the wildlife that need places of respite in town.
